Woohoo!!!

As of yesterday we have . . . our own internet connection!!! This is a huge day for us, since for the last almost 4 months we have had only sporadic internet and no phone line (except for a very expensive prepaid cell). First we couldn't set it up with out a special number because they wouldn't give us a bank account, and finally we set up the service through someone else's bank account, but they said it would take 4-6 weeks to get activated. When we finally got the equipment in the mail we couldn't figure out how to set it all up (especially since all the directions were in Dutch) and so we had a few people come over to help us. Nothing ever worked. Then yesterday Jeremy decided to do a little investigation after talking (again) with the internet/phone company and he found that he had to re-wire the imput outlet, which he did and now it works! We are so grateful to have finally made it back to the 21st century and are looking forward to better communication with people here and back home. Thank you all for your patience!

We now also have a Skype Phoenix number if anyone needs/wants to call which rings through to our computer. You can even leave a voicemail if the computer is not on. Email us for the number or ask our parents, but remember that there is an 8 hour time difference :)
