A decision has finally been made!

After praying and seeking council for what seems like forever, we have finally come to the conclusion that we will not be serving at Black Forest Academy in Germany this coming school year. In the end, we did not have the finances that we would need and did not feel comfortable that there would be enough time to raise the necessary funds and take care of other practical arrangements required by their July 25th start date.

Admittedly, we are disappointed as we feel that it would be an incredible ministry for our family, but we are also glad that we will be able to spend the next school year with our American friends and family.

Thank you sincerely to all of you who prayed with us about this decision, to those who encouraged us with your kind words, and to those of you who let us know that you would have been willing to financially support us if we were to accept the position - it has made this whole process so much easier that we have had you with us!

Please pray that God will raise up a couple to fill the dorm parent position at BFA. It is a role that is vital to the 20+ girls living in the dorm as well as to their parents who are serving on the mission field.

Thank you, again. We can't wait to see you all soon!
