Jeremy and I just returned from a weekend convention for a company that I have never been prouder to be a part of. When we decided God was calling us to Holland last summer, we were terrified of having to raise support for a whole year and started looking for other opportunities to help finance our trip. It was then that my sister and her husband introduced us to a visionary and radical business opportunity.
TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More.
Kind of a generic name for a faith based, leadership driven, character building business opportunity that focuses on building communities of people where everyone profits vs. the common ideology that you must always look out for number one. Over the last year we have had product challanges as we have changed distributors and in the process have followed incredible leaders, Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady-who recently wrote the best seller Launching a Leadership Revolution (and gave 100% to All Grace Outreach). We learned incredible things about leadership, character, and integrity from a Biblical perspective by listening to CDs and reading books they recommended. Now, we have recently merged with a new company, MonaVie, and they are offering a business opportunity to help everyone achieve the dreams that God has given them.
We have been so impressed with the product, check it out at our MonaVie website and their amazing compensation plan, - look at what the distributors are making: Income Discolsure Statement 2007. But more than anything, we have been impressed with the way the company has stood tall and maintained integrity throughout, and at how this last weekend they were triumphant but gave God all the glory. We saw the president and founder of MonaVie, Dallin Larsen, publicly announce that God is his first priority. We began each session with a prayer to praise the Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Pledge of Allegiance to a nation built on Freedom. We saw the entire company arrange the schedule to include a Worship service on Sunday morning, given by speaker and author, Pastor Robert Dickie, who is a member of TEAM and a MonaVie distributor. He began by saying telling us that he was reminded by Orrin prior to opening the service, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" And then he went on to clearly present the Gospel to the congregation.
Jeremy and I have been keeping this quiet for a while now, wanting to always keep the ministry as the focus and feeling that we needed to keep it separate from the business. But hearing so many financially successful leaders speak with pride and openness about their relationship with and dependence on Jesus Christ showed us we were mistaken in that thinking. We are excited about the financial blessings we believe God will provide to us through this business, and we should not act as though we are ashamed of that any more than a business owner should act as though he is ashamed of his relationship with Christ. We have dreams of being financially free, not in debt to anyone, and of being able to financially support the many ministries that are important to us. Before we found Team and MonaVie, we had no realistic way of making those things a possibility. We are so proud to be a part of an organization focuses on finding the dreams God has given you and then gives you the vehicle to make them a reality. We met so many people who are living their dreams and we look forward to doing the same. Our dream is to always follow the plan God has for us, and right now that is leading us to Holland. We know that while we are there, the business may have to wait, but we are excited to be a part of their business community and look forward to returning home to continue working with them.
